The use of modern welding inverters reduces the total weight of our DGV welding units and also ensures safe and economical operation thanks to the functionalities of an advanced welding power source. The Cellstar 350 puls PWS welding inverter used offers pole reversing, hot start, anti-stick and arcforce functions in addition to vertical-down seam safety. Additionally manual electric pulse welding is possible, which is particularly suitable for root welding and for difficult electrodes. TIG welding is possible with optional additional equipment.
A synchronous generator driven by the internal combustion engine supplies sufficient electrical energy for the welding equipment and additional consumers. The engine runs slowly at 1500 rpm, thus reducing fuel consumption and noise pollution. The intelligent engine control further reduces the speed when connected devices are not in use.
The product family includes the DGV 280K, which is particularly impressive due to its compact design and low operating weight, as well as the powerful DGV 310K equipped with up to two welding stations.
