Our new ARCOTRAC technology is even more attractive in price, while the practical experience on job site has considerably influenced the design of our construction and its design. The crane can be operated from the driver’s cabin. The motors being equipped are super sound-absorbing; according to the customer’s wishes an air condition can be installed in the cabin. The main advantage of our ARCOTRAC is the fact that it has been designed exactly in accordance with the requirements of a pipeline contractor. The unit is very light, flexible and sturdy. Our ARCOTRAC welding tractors are being operated on all continents.
A unique feature of our welding tractor ARCOTRAC is, that all welding units can be operated simultaneously respectively can be switched on variably, without influencing the welding parameters of each other. This is made possible by the hydraulic drive of the synchronous generator only. The advantage of the VIETZ design is, that the combustion engine supplies several hydraulic drives, thus guaranteeing a constant engine speed. The hydraulic components which have been selected by VIETZ enable welding and driving at the same time. The intelligent welding technology being installed on the ARCOTRAC guarantees a consistent and reproduceable welding seam quality with MAG orbital welding. Depending on the respective requirements on job site we supply two different types of welding inverters:
